This couple needed an update for their large, two-decade-old, two-story home. The stucco facade was outdated and had deteriorated beyond repair, and the windows were old and not functioning properly.

They decided it was time to update the stucco and remodel their home’s exterior to reflect today’s styles.

While our clients came to us for a siding replacement, they were surprised to learn the extent of the damage we uncovered. We found rotted wood underneath the stucco and bad wood behind the existing stoop, all of which we replaced.

To replace the stucco, we installed James Hardie fiber cement siding. We also installed new windows, eight-foot doors, a pent roof, and a copper-colored metal roof to the portico, an elegant stone veneer, and a blue stone stoop.

The new white, black, and copper color scheme provided a much sleeker, more modern appearance than the dull stucco exterior.

To elevate the design even further, new stonework was added to the front bump out and garage, bringing texture and contrast to the home’s updated look. A new Andersen 400 Series front window was also installed to enhance both curb appeal and energy efficiency.
