Feasterville Trevose Reliable Roof Repair Company

When the Feasterville homeowner began looking into replacing the existing deck at her Feasterville home, she knew she wanted more than simply a new place to step outside. Her existing deck was ready for an update, and she wanted a finished space that would be beautiful, durable, and built to last.

The home, originally built in 1964, had an existing outdoor living area that had become due for replacement. The Feasterville homeowner reached out to Preferred Home Improvement for an estimate and an experienced team to help bring her vision for a new deck to life.

Finding the Right Contractor

The Feasterville homeowner’s search for a contractor was a little different than most. She wasn’t able to find a family or friend who had recently completed a deck overhaul and could provide a word-of-mouth recommendation. Instead, she came across Preferred Home Improvement through Best Pick Reports, an independent consumer research publication serving Bucks County.

After seeing Preferred recognized for quality deck building and maintenance, the Feasterville homeowner decided to give the company a call.

During the estimate process, the Feasterville homeowner met with the owner and had the opportunity to see examples of other decks Preferred had completed. Those examples gave her confidence in the quality of the company’s work, and she was comfortable with the estimate the owner provided.

In her own words, the Feasterville homeowner said she was impressed enough that she “didn't bother calling other companies.”

Designing a New Outdoor Space

For the replacement deck, the Feasterville homeowner selected TimberTech decking in the Legacy Collection, choosing the Ashwood color and profile. The warm, natural appearance of Ashwood provides the look of traditional wood while giving the new deck the durability and low-maintenance benefits of composite decking.

The deck was also designed with details intended to provide additional protection and a clean, finished appearance.

Flashing tape was installed over the framing to help protect the structural framing from moisture intrusion. The decking was secured using a hidden fastener system, eliminating visible fastener heads across the surface and creating a cleaner, more finished look.

The fascia was also completed in Ashwood, tying the edges of the deck into the main decking surface for a cohesive appearance.

Finishing the Details

The stairs were finished to coordinate with the deck, with Ashwood decking used for the steps and risers.

For the railing system, the Feasterville homeowner selected TimberTech Radiance railing and post sleeves in Black. The darker railing creates a strong contrast against the warmer Ashwood decking and gives the finished deck a crisp, contemporary appearance.

The railing was completed with plain post caps, keeping the design simple and allowing the Ashwood decking and black railing to remain the primary visual elements.

The result is a deck that combines warm, natural-looking decking with clean black accents—a combination that gives the outdoor space a completely refreshed appearance.

A Job Well Done

For the Feasterville homeowner, however, the finished product was only part of the experience. She also appreciated the people who brought the project together.

She described the installation crew as conscientious and polite, noting that they appeared to take pride in their work and made an effort to clean up after the project was completed.

That attention to detail made an impression on her from the beginning of the installation through the final cleanup.

And when she finally saw her completed deck, the Feasterville homeowner was thrilled with the transformation.

“I am extremely happy and satisfied with how my new deck looks.”

From the initial estimate with the owner to the installation and final cleanup, the Feasterville homeowner felt that her experience with Preferred Home Improvement had lived up to the reputation that first brought her to the company.

She summed up her experience by thanking everyone involved for “a job well done” and said she would highly recommend Preferred to anyone looking for help maintaining or improving their home.

The Finished Result

What began as a search for a contractor to replace an existing deck resulted in a completely refreshed outdoor living space for the Feasterville homeowner’s Feasterville home.

With TimberTech Legacy decking in Ashwood, matching Ashwood fascia and stairs, black Radiance railing and post sleeves, hidden fasteners, and flashing tape protection, the new deck was designed with both appearance and long-term performance in mind.

Most importantly, the Feasterville homeowner walked away from the project not only with a new deck she was extremely happy with, but with confidence in the team that built it.

For a homeowner who started her search without a personal recommendation from friends or family, the Feasterville homeowner’s experience ultimately gave her something she could confidently pass along to others: a recommendation of her own.
